About Me

I have spent most of my youth living a life of action. Growing up with 3 brothers, one of which was my fraternal twin , within 3 years of age of each other. I spent my childhood playing with them in the nearby woods, fishing in the stream that ran through the woods, or riding my bike. When I wasn’t outside adventuring, I found myself exploring all kinds of sports - football, soccer, baseball, wrestling, cross-country running, and swimming.

As I got into my  20’s, I was  running from 3-5 days/week and took up mountain biking and road bike riding as well as snowboarding. I started doing long distance running and biking. I completed a marathon and road countless over 100 mile bike rides. As I moved into my early 30’s, All that life of action began to take a toll on my body. I had been hearing about how great yoga was for building strength and flexibility and decided to check it out to help relieve my body of it’s tightness and try to remedy some “tweaky” joints and muscles. Within 6 months to a year I started to realize the “deeper” benefits of what a meditative practice can bring.
